[Remote] Snowflake Platform Admin

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise, is seeking a Snowflake Platform Engineer to design, administer, secure, and optimize its enterprise Snowflake data platform. The role collaborates with cross-functional data, security, infrastructure, governance, and business intelligence teams while driving platform best practices and cloud data modernization.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Snowflake environments across development, testing, and production
• Implement and maintain security models and compliance requirements
• Optimize platform performance and manage costs effectively
• Automate provisioning and operational processes using DevOps practices
• Support integration with enterprise data tools and troubleshoot data issues

Skills

• 5+ years in data platforms, database administration, cloud engineering, or data engineering
• 3+ years of Snowflake administration and engineering
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
