Job Details Janitors are responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of an assigned area. The assigned area could be a building, hospital, warehouse, shopping mall or other facility. Exact tasks of janitorial are not definite, consequently, must be flexible in performing assigned duties as assigned by a Supervisor as mentioned below. Essential Functions <ul><li>Empty and clean all waste containers</li><li>Stock restrooms with paper supplies and hand soap</li><li>Handle emergency clean ups such as bodily fluids and waste</li><li>Remove waste paper, garbage and recycling from the premises to selected area; damp wipe containers</li><li>Empty and clean all ashtrays, monitor all sand urns supply and restore sand as required</li><li>Dust all image frames, charts, graphs and wall hangings from high to low heights</li><li>Damp dirt all ceiling air conditioning ducts, partition grilles, register and other ventilating units.</li><li>Dust the outside surfaces of light fixtures, together with glass and plastic enclosures</li><li>Vacuum all mats and carpeted areas in workplace, lobbies and corridors</li><li>Hand dust and clean all office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills and all other flat surfaces</li><li>Keep slop sink rooms in a dirt free, tidy and arranged condition</li><li>Wipe, clean, buff and polish all metal hardware fixtures</li><li>Appropriately clean tile floor services as required</li><li>Follow all safety and workers rules and regulations</li><li>Damp wipe and buff all glass furnishings and</li><li>Dust and/or wash all index boards as necessary, eliminate fingerprints and smudges</li><li>Clean entry door glass indoors and outer surface</li><li>Brush or dust mop restroom and common area floors</li><li>Clean or damp mop exterior entry areas</li><li>Remove all stains from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, around light switches, private entrance glass, and dividers</li><li>Wash, clean, and sterilize all water coolers/refrigerators</li><li>Bush, with a broom, all private stairways, and vacuum if carpeted</li><li>Keep watch over stairwells and clean or damp mop spillage</li><li>Damp, wash or clean any spillage in office and community areas as necessary</li><li>Disinfect all touch points and areas that need to be disinfected </li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required <ul><li>Good verbal communication skills</li><li>Able to work well with all levels of employees and managers</li><li>Maintain a clean and orderly work area</li><li>Ability to perform the job with minimal supervision</li><li>Regular and timely attendance </li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>High School Education or equivalent </li></ul>This position reports to MBM.
