Director, Specialty Care Patient Engagement
Job Description:
- Translate Patient Engagement and brand strategy into actionable go-to-market plans
- Build and evolve go-to-market and launch plans across program lifecycle phases
- Define segmentation, targeting, channel mix, field execution, timelines, milestones, and readiness criteria
- Develop and maintain SOPs, call guides, guardrails, training materials, and patient education collateral
- Represent Patient Engagement in Review Committee/MLR processes and submit resources for review
- Partner with Legal and Compliance on permissions, approvals, and supporting documentation
- Manage content loading, tagging, availability, and currency across platforms such as Amplify/Centris
- Develop customer/account and patient population targeting models
- Build segmentation and tiering criteria aligned with approved indications and compliance guardrails
- Lead territory mapping, workload analysis, territory alignment, call planning, and multichannel engagement models
- Monitor field force effectiveness and equip patient-facing teams with approved tools and materials
- Improve coordination among Patient Engagement, Sales, K, Medical, Access and Reimbursement teams
- Support Year Beginning, Mid-Year, and POA meeting planning
- Define KPIs, metrics, reporting dashboards, field technology, and related tools
- Shape dashboard and reporting requirements and deliver performance insights to leadership and marketing
- Translate execution data into strategic narratives and recommend strategy or execution adjustments
- Develop team competencies and enable leaders to coach effectively
- Serve as liaison across Marketing, Sales, Patient Solutions, Medical, Legal, Compliance, Digital, and other functions
- Create training resources and support adoption of GTM tools and processes
- Maintain Patient Engagement scope and guiding principles
Requirements:
- 8+ years of combined pharmaceutical experience across consumer marketing, operations, and strategy
- Demonstrated track record of leadership and high performance
- Experience leading others in a matrix organization
- Ability to manage direct and indirect reports with authority
- Ability to influence key stakeholders internally and externally
- Proven executive communication skills and leadership qualities
- Effective planning, prioritization, and organizational project skills
- Strong project management skills and ability to deliver multiple short-term and long-term projects simultaneously
- Track record of leading and managing complex programs and teams
- Strong strategic skills, including identifying and addressing major strategic challenges
- Ability to balance short-term needs with long-term vision
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Good judgment and high ethics
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
