Dauntless Delivery, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), has immediate openings for package delivery drivers, both for our electric cargo vans and our larger step vans:

  • Electric vans require a current driver's license & good driving record
  • Amazon-branded "step vans" require a non-CDL class C license
  • Any employees approved to drive step vans will receive paid training/assistance
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Sundays and/or Saturdays are required for full-time drivers
  • High level of physical activity required throughout the day

The Dauntless Team strives for exceptionally great customer service while quickly, reliably, and safely delivering Amazon packages.

The Dauntless Team operates out of Arlington Heights, delivering Amazon packages and smiles to the west and northwest suburbs.

Dauntless Delivery Associates start at $23.75/hour with opportunities for bonuses and overtime. Our 10-hour shifts start at 9:00 a.m. and deliver until approximately 7 p.m.

What does it mean to be a Dauntless Step Van Delivery Associate?

  • Driving a van to drop off Amazon packages to customers in your community for approximately 10 hours/day (based on your efficiency and load size)
  • Enthusiastically providing great customer experiences and positive interactions with the public
  • Eagerly getting the job done with a sense of purpose (following safety guidelines, of course!)
  • Using handheld technology to manage deliveries and keep score of your progress
  • Typically, working full-time 4 days a week (with opportunities for overtime)
  • Staying active! You can get in anywhere from 15,000 to 18,000 steps during the course of the day
  • Giving and getting support from other Dauntless Team members, when needed

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years-old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (multiple moving violations may disqualify you)
  • Able to lift & carry packages up to 50 lbs. and get in and out of van continuously with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to understand basic English
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test (does not test for marijuana, although being under the influence while at work is prohibited)
  • Able to operate and navigate a delivery van and pass a road test
  • Being able to climb in and out of a van up to 200 times a day
  • Comfortable with technology/apps/handheld devices
  • MUST have open availability – at least one weekend day is required; schedules may differ from week to week
  • Must be available the entire day on days you are scheduled (no partial shifts)
  • Reliable transportation to work and history of good attendance
  • Desire to work in all Chicago weather conditions
  • Prior Amazon Flex or commercial delivery experience is a plus
